This is undoubtedly one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Karkonosze. These are the two best-developed post-glacial fountains, which are relics of the Pleistocene era in the landscape of the western part of the Karkonosze.
Vertical rock walls reach up to 200 m high, the upper edge of the Duży Kocioł is located at an altitude of 1490 m above sea level. In the tattered, typically high-mountain range of Śnieżne Kotły, Shark's tooth, Turnia Popiela and Mokre Ściany are especially characteristic. At the bottom of the Wielki Kocioł there are two small Snow Rates.
